Issue 71 of “Fòrum. Revista d’Organització i Gestió Educativa” has been published, focusing on the management of transitions between educational stages.
Fòrum is an editorial project jointly promoted by Editorial Graó and the European Forum of Education Administrators in Catalonia (FEAEC). Currently, Aleix Barrera-Corominas and Anna Díaz Vicario serve on the editorial board, while Carme Armengol, Diego Castro and Joaquín Gairín are members of the advisory board.
This issue’s special monograph focuses on transitions between educational stages, schools and learning pathways, a key moment in the trajectories of children and young people. The journal approaches transitions as social, personal, pedagogical and organisational processes that go beyond the mere transfer of information.
The monograph reflects on the role of guidance and counselling, pedagogical continuity, relationships and sense of belonging, as well as on the need to strengthen coordination among schools, professionals, families and local stakeholders.
The issue includes contributions from Aina Tarabini, Màrius Martínez, Maria Àngels Pavón, Maria Pujol, Carme Zamora, Begonya Gasch, Gemma Olmo and Carmina Pinya, among others, offering reflections and experiences on educational support, the prevention of early school leaving, and transitions in vocational education and training.
