EDO Collaborators from the University of Granada organize the Meeting “The new European Citizenship” on 17th and 18th February, 2016. 

On 17th and 18th of February, a Meeting about “The New European Citizenship” will take place in Granada, which will be organized and coordinated by official collaborators of EDO Group in University of Granada. The activity is set up in the framework of the project “Lights and Shadows of the future of the European Union thought the eyes of Young present and future citizens”, funded by the European Program for Citizens of European Union, reference number 563281-CITIZ-1-2015-1-IT-CITIZ-CIV.

In the activity, will participate members of the project from Italy, Germany, France, United Kingdom, Greece, Albany, Lithuania and Romania, whom will develop aspects related to the current situation that youth are living nowadays. For developing it, it will be analyzed what means to be an European citizen today, the knowledge that citizens have about European Union institutions, the main risks that youth detect related to the future of European Union and the rights that second generation European citizens have.

The activity is quite attractive because it will also include the participation of an important number of Young people, whom will have the opportunity to participate in a simulation of political elections, during the meeting.
