From CRIEDO, we are proud to present the creation of the 1st Network of Information Centers in Research Evidence.
Next September 30, the members of the REDU-CAT project will meet to set up this network, in a meeting that will be held at the Faculty of Education Sciences of the Autonomous University of Barcelona. The participation of 20 educational centers from all over Catalonia is expected.
Around the world, governments are committed to improving education through strategies based on research evidence. Despite the demonstrated benefits for teacher professional development and student learning, the use of evidence by schools is often inconsistent and limited to isolated initiatives.
Based on previous experiences, we propose to design and validate a model that allows the systematic integration of research evidence in a network of educational centers in Catalonia.
