Master in Organization and Management of Centres of Music Education
ESMUC and EDO in collaboration of the joint organization of a Master´s programme which bears the aim of training professionals capable of managing and organizing centers of music education.
The special necessity of training in educational organization in order to complete the profile of professionals of music teaching and to provide necessary knowledges and tools of management promote ESMUC and the Autonomous University of Barcelona(UAB) to implement a new Master's degree programme in Organization and Management of Centres of Music Education. This programme intents to establish itself as a leader in training and professionalization for people who have interests in management and organization in the field of music education.
The Master is designed for music teachers focusing on change and innovation within the center itself, the directors of music schools and conservatories who have the desire to improve and increase the effectiveness and efficiency of management, as well as other professionals in educational system who want to change and improve their own centre.
Under this perspective, the objectives of the programme are:
- To provide the necessary expertise in management, organization and management of music education centres.
- To provide knowledge about the problems of organization and management .
- To promote reflection, research and innovation in management .
- To provide support to the processes of change .
- To promote the exchange of experiences.
