The period to submit contributions related to Education and Technology is now open.
The International Forum on Education and Technology (FIET), organized for the first time in 2014, aims to be a meeting space where figures of international relevance related to the world of education and technology reflect and make proposals together on their transformative role in a digital context.
Currently, FIET is linked to an agreement signed by the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, Universitat de Barcelona, Universitat de Girona, Universitat de Lleida, Universitat de Vic – UCC, Universitat Oberta de Catalunya, Universitat Ramon Llull and Universitat Rovira i Virgili; to develop the above mentioned objectives through the organization of annual conferences and a five-yearly Congress. From the Department of Applied Pedagogy, Professors Joaquín Gairín and Cristina Mercader participate in its Scientific Committee and Organizing Committee, respectively.
In this edition, the central theme of FIET2023 is articulated around digital spaces and resources for learning. The objectives of FIET2023 are:
- To analyze, reflect and debate on educational transformation through digital technologies and digital learning spaces and resources.
- To share the most current research and innovative experiences in Education and Technology, especially those related to advances in digital spaces and resources for learning.
