The analysis focuses on the students, the administration and services staff, and the faculty that is part of the institutions analyzed.

To finalize the event, Dr. Gairín, co-coordinator of the project, gave the conference "Quality and Equity in Higher Education: Challenges and Alternatives" in which he highlighted the importance of improving quality levels, increasing access to studies higher, but above all guarantee equity and social justice, at all levels, among all those groups that form part of the university community.

In its initial phase, the project is composed of 30 institutions in Latin America, and 5 European universities participate as partners, one of them the Autonomous University of Barcelona. On behalf of the UAB, Dr. Joaquín Gairín, Dean of the Faculty of Educational Sciences, attended the inauguration.
