On 19th, 20th and 21st January, the training day of the European project D-Eva took place in Reykjavík (Iceland).

During these days, in the Inter Cultural Iceland consortium, a training session was held on Creative and diverse evaluation methods for education in the 21st century, framed within the D-Eva project "Practical Skills evaluation with digital technologies in teacher education". The conference was attended by all the partner institutions of the project, such as CRiEDO – Autonomous University of Barcelona (CRiEDO-UAB) (coordination of the project), Hogeschool van Amsterdam (HVA), Inter Cultural Iceland (ICI) and Universitatea de Vest din Timisoara (UVT).

During the conference, in which several members of CRiEDO participated, intercultural education was discussed through cooperative learning methods to discuss the key skills and competencies for the 21st century, as well as evaluation criteria. At the same time, working groups were formed to deal with issues such as assessment for learning and/or assessment of learning, students as co-creators of their own learning, and the digitization of formative assessment. The event closed with a final evaluation and discussion regarding the look towards change in higher education training for future teachers.

The D-Eva project "Practical Skills evaluation with digital technology in teacher education" is part of the Erasmus + program of the European Union. Specifically, this project is financed from the line aimed at generating associations for the preparation of digital education, with a total allocation of €201,353.00 (Ref. 2020-1-ES01-KA226-HE-095485) and has partners from the Netherlands, Iceland and Romania, under the coordination of doctors Georgeta Ion and Cristina Mercader, both members of CRiEDO.
