First Congress on Educational Organizations
On 22 and 23 August 2013 the first Congress of Educational Organizations will be held at Universidad Católica de Valparaiso (Xile), under the topic "Leading improvement plans, strategy for improvement or accountability?"
In many countries, local or central government, have chosen to implement Improvement Plans strategy to promote the quality of student learning, which has attracted the interest of researchers, teachers, principals and community to reflect on the following aspects:
1 - What are the factors favoring / obtaculizadores, conditions / capabilities for the design and implementation of improvement plans in school organizations.
2 - To explore the role of holders, directors and management teams, teachers, students and parents and carers in the design, implementation, evaluation, improvement plans and their impact on the quality of student learning.
3 - Reflect on linking improvement plans and policies for quality assurance, for example in the case of Chile, results SIMCE Quality Agency, Super Municipality of Education, SEP Law, among others.
The conference is designed as a meeting request and reflection among educators, school administrators, researchers, students and people interested in the subject.
Congress headquarters acts as the Catholic University of Valparaiso, recently admitted as a member of the Organizational Development Team, which acts as a partner, together with the University of Concepción (Chile) and the Network of Educational Management Support.
