The UrBIOfuture project will telematically carry out its last webinar on April 16th

Next Thursday, April 16th, at 11 am, the final webinar of the UrBIOfuture project will be held. This objective is to present the final results of the project, the lessons learned during its development and reveal future lines of research and work that the bio sector can offer.

Like the rest of webinars previously held, this one is aimed at anyone interested in learning about the Bioeconomy, its impact on the European economy and the job prospects that exist in this field. The hour-long session, apart from discussing the development of the project and its achievements, will focus on developments in educational programs, the needs of the industry and the gaps between them; Bioruukki will also be presented as a success story in collaboration between research centers, companies and educational institutes.

The project, led by the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB) through the EDO Group, started in May 2019. It has been funded by the Bio Based Industries Joint Undertaking (JU) within the framework of the Horizon 2020 research and innovation program of the European Union under grant agreement no. 837811.
