FIETxs 2016

EDO-UAB group co-organizes the 3^rd edition of FIET under the theme “FIETxs 2016: New tendencies”, that will take place in the Education and Psychology Faculty of Universitat de Girona on 8^th of July.

The new scenarios and challenges that the current era presents have propitiate rethinking habilities, knowledge and attitudes needed for an interconnected, complex, changing and technological society. The theme in this edition FIETxs2016 “New tendencies” is in line with the general purposes of FIET: thinking and proposing Deep changes from the results of research and scientific proof from research itself.  

The current edition will present 8 symposiums, 2 conferences and an oral communication table called “researcher corner”, thus, giving space to young researchers to present their studies. The opening conference will be given Ismael Palacín, Director of Bofill’s Foundation, “The new educational horizons that technology opens” and the closing conference will be given by Laura Borràs, Director of Institution of Catalan Literature and will be about literature and technologies “Read, always: technology helps us to read the world, to read the culture”. EDO-Group, besides being coorganizer, will develop a symposium coordinated by EDO’s director, Joaquín Gairín, entitled “Collective knowledge creation and management in educational centres. Current challenges and tendencies”.
