The FIET Conference opens the deadline for submitting contributions

The International Forum on Education and Technology (FIET) opens the deadline for submitting contributions (Communications and Posters). This year the theme will revolve around education, ethics and digital civism.

In this sense, the current digital background demand teachers with knowledge and assumption of the implications derived from the use of digital technologies in the educational field as regards the issues of legality, security and digital identity. As well as the training of students to make an ethical and responsible use of these technologies.

The FIET, therefore, has already opened the deadline for presenting the spaces for communications, which allow Conference assistants to present contributions linked to experiences developed in their institutions or the results of research projects.

On the other hand, the posters are used to present research designs, intervention models, projects and results of ongoing research and projects.

Therefore, contributions can already be innovations carried out in educational centres or research results, results of final masters or ongoing theses, especially in the posters section. In any case, the topics of communications will be adjusted to the thematic lines defined by the Congress.

The FIETxs2018 theme, that will be held on June 26th, ‘Education, ethics and digital civility', is adapted and follows the general objectives of the FIET: to reflect and make proposals of a transformative nature based on the results of the research and of the evidences that this gives us.
