On June 25, several CRiEDO researchers will take part in a new edition of FIET (International Forum on Education and Technology), which will be held at the University of Vic. The forum is a key meeting space for research, educational practice, and public policy in the field of technology and education.
CRiEDO, from the Autonomous University of Barcelona, is part of the event’s organizing team and will actively participate in both the technical forum—sharing learning spaces with other research groups—and the public forum, contributing with several scientific presentations and engaging in debates with the educational community.
CRiEDO’s presentations include:
- Cristina Mercader, Aleix Barrera, and Laia Alguacil will present Teachers’ Knowledge and Use of Generative AI in Higher Education, sharing preliminary results from the national R&D project EdU-InA: Policies and Practices on Generative Artificial Intelligence in Higher Education.
- Laia Vila and Laia Alguacil will present Digital Technologies for an Inclusive and Sustainable Higher Education: A Perspective from the Catalan University System, based on findings from their doctoral theses.
- Laia Alguacil will also present The Organisational Dimension of Digital Competence: Towards a Model Proposal for Educational Institutions, featuring results from her doctoral research project.
Through this participation, CRiEDO reaffirms its commitment to knowledge transfer and applied research in the field of digital and educational transformation, contributing reflections and proposals on the major challenges facing today’s education system.
