CRiEDO at the VII UAB Teaching Innovation Conference

On May 7, 2025, the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona held the VII Teaching Innovation Conference, a space for sharing ideas and experiences on how to improve university teaching.

Two CRiEDO members took part in this edition: José Luís Muñoz and Cristina Mercader. José Luís, as Vice-Rector for Training and Teaching Innovation, gave the institutional welcome and introduced the opening lecture, delivered by Idoia Fernández (REDU – University of the Basque Country), which focused on academic development and teaching assessment.

Cristina participated in the discussion “ChatGPT enters the classroom: now what?”, alongside professors Joan Simon and Rober Clarisó, where they explored the challenges and opportunities of integrating generative artificial intelligence into education.

The event also included the presentation of the VII UAB Teaching Excellence Award, which recognizes innovative initiatives and good practices in university teaching.

At CRiEDO, we’re pleased to see our members actively contributing to spaces like this, which help rethink and improve university education.
