Collaborative training workshop

On March 18, the workshop was held on how to improve educational practice based on evidence.
Thanks to the project "PBE_TOOLS - Evidence-based educational practices: design and validation of strategies for the improvement of educational centers (Funded by MINECO, ref. EDU2017-88711-R)", on March 18th, it was carried out a collaborative formative workshop on how to improve the educational practice based on the evidences.
The objectives of the workshop were:
- To arrive at a joint and consensual definition of educational innovation
- Identify elements linked to innovation in their own educational practice (delimiting between an innovation project and an educational practice)
- Establish in a collaborative way the elements that must be taken into account when implementing an innovation
- Establish the role of evidence for the improvement of educational practice
The session began with the delimitation of the practice / innovation proposed by the analysis, and categorized it as an "innovation project" or "educational practice". Then, for mixed groups, the analysis of different definitions of innovation was carried out. To end the day, they debated the role of evidence and research as "forgotten" parts of the innovation process.
