Celebration of the new FIET edition
This new edition of the FIET has been held in Lleida under the slogan "STEAM: innovate and investigate to transform education".
The International Forum on Education and Technology (FIET), organized for the first time in 2014, is a meeting space where figures of international relevance related to the world of education and technology reflect and make proposals together on their transforming role in a digital context.
This year, held at the University of Lleida, has begun with an internal meeting of research groups where professors Joaquín Gairín and Cristina Mercader have participated from CRiEDO. It was followed by a conference by Núria Salán from the UPC. In the afternoon, the research corner and the round table "the STEAM educational phenomenon: a plurality of perspectives" were held, with the participation of university professors, the department of education and teachers and professors from compulsory education schools.
Currently, the FIET is linked to an agreement signed by the Autonomous University of Barcelona, the University of Barcelona, the University of Girona, the University of Lleida, the University of Vic - UCC, the Open University of Catalonia, the Ramon Llull University and the University Rovira i Virgili; to develop the named objectives from the organization of annual conferences and a five-yearly Congress.
