On December 3rd and 4th, the BBJIU Project Meeting was held in Brussels

Aleix Barrera, a member of the EDO Group,  and Gloria de la Viña, responsible at CTA and member of UrBIOfuture project, attended on December 3rd and 4th at the BBJIU Stakeholder Day in Brussels. The session featured high-level speakers, who presented their ideas through speeches and reflections on the situation of bio industry and education, discussion panels and parallel work sessions. An exhibition of projects was also held, including UrBIOfuture.

The first day, December 3rd, was devoted to awareness and education in bioeconomy, some projects that promote the adoption of the bioeconomy presented the lessons learned and their challenges to us three parallel sessions dedicated to the policy framework, market research and value chain and the innovation ecosystem.

The next day, December 4th, Aleix Barrera attended on behalf of the EDO Group at the Stakeholders Forum, where UrBIOfuture had a specific corner. The objective of this second day was to gather projects with other BBJIU stakeholders in one place to promote the exchange of ideas and best practices.
