At the XV General Assembly of RETINDE, the position paper on educational research in Spain was approved.
The Red Transdisciplinar de Investigación Educativa [Transdisciplinary Network of Educational Research] (RETINDE) is a network of associations, scientific societies and networks of educational research groups in Spain, which is currently made up of 16 entities representing more than 6,000 researchers, including the EDO Group. The team has developed and approved a position paper on educational research in Spain. The paper presents a reflection on the current state of educational research in Spain and makes proposals for its development and improvement.
The document is organized in three parts. First, it presents the core elements that make up and configure the educational research sector in our country. Secondly, the main problems currently affecting this sector are listed. Finally, specific challenges and proposals for action to improve the situation of educational research in Spain are presented.
This message is intended to improve educational research and the conditions in which it is produced, insofar as it contributes decisively to optimizing the situation of the education sector in our context.
