Studies about the presence of women in different areas of society have increased in recent years. The university has been one of these spaces under study and various organizations (Ministry of Equality, Institut de la Dona, AGAUR, etc.) have launched calls that have covered many of these investigations (some of which are reported in the various chapters of this book).
This work includes various works aimed at investigating the role of women in the fields of teaching, research and university management. Specifically, it addresses the leadership exercised by directors and deans in Catalan universities, the role of professors as researchers and as teachers, and the visibility of all of them in the university.
This book may be of interest to promoters of gender equality policies, administrators and managers of higher education, as well as all teachers concerned about issues of equality and visibility of female professors at the university.
