This article is framed within a growing interest in the intermediation of research findings as a tool to strengthen the connection between research and educational practice. The aim is to map the institutions of Educational Technical Assistance (ATE) that carry out intermediation actions for educational improvement and to identify the strategies they claim to use. A review was conducted of the websites of the 543 ATEs operating in the Metropolitan Region. The results show that less than 10% of the institutions engage in intermediation of research findings. The most commonly used strategies by institutions that report engaging in intermediation focus on incorporating research findings into products and services. The least used strategies are those that build capacity in educational centers to understand and question research findings. According to the type of strategies used, four groups are identified: 1) intermediaries focused on disseminating research findings; 2) intermediaries focused on incorporating research findings into products and services; 3) intermediaries that foster connection; and 4) complete intermediaries. The contribution of this article lies in providing information about the ATE ecosystem and its potential as knowledge intermediaries.
