Access to and permanence in university does not currently offer the same opportunities to all citizens who are able to undertake higher education. Economic, cultural, social or gender reasons significantly punish certain groups, who see their possibilities of personal and social achievement and advancement diminished. This contribution presents reflections on the inclusion of vulnerable groups in the university, indications for planning and guiding processes aimed at their care and a set of guidance and tutoring strategies that facilitate intervention. The aim is to support the development of a university whose mission and objectives are aimed at promoting the inclusion of all its students. The ACCEDES Project, funded by the European Union, thus contributes to achieving the second of its specific objectives: “To contribute to the organizational development of higher education institutions in the implementation of actions to improve access, academic excellence and the graduation phase.”
