The multiplier event will be developed as a training activity for current university teaching staff and future teaching staff in training at the Faculty of Education Sciences. The focus of this event was digital tools for assessment, one of the nascent topics that concern university teachers and in which they have shown interest in recent years.
The purpose of this multiplier event is to publicize the QUEST project (Quality Essential Skills for Teachers in Online Learning) and the autonomous training products that have been developed in it. For this, first of all, Professor Georgeta Ion will facilitate a reflective session to explore previous knowledge, experiences and concerns in relation to assessment and, specifically, assessment with digital tools. Based on these verbalized results, teacher Laia Alguacil will present the 5 training capsules developed as part of the project, connecting each of them with the needs explained in the first part. These 5 training capsules, which can be taken as a whole or independently, are:
- Building self-confidence for online communication
- Management of online interactive classrooms
- Gamification of the online class
- Instructional design for online learning
- Student assessment and feedback in the online environment
The training is aimed at compulsory education teachers, but it is applicable to other educational areas. It is completely free and has certification upon completing each module.
