YOUTH project, funded under the Erasmus + call of the European Union, provides content development for youth centers in the European Union, with the participation of four youth organizations, universities and local authorities. The specific objectives of the project are:
- Develop and test a set of tools for working with young people (based on the criteria of the quality label European Council) in four youth centers in the consortium during the two and a half years.
- Create and test content adapted to the needs of schools, specifically related to career planning and the inclusion of young people in the four youth centers in the consortium for a period of two and a half years.
- Develop a platform for the use of young people in Timisoara (coverage of events, trainings, youth exchanges, etc.).
The activity planned for the second week in June 2017, aims to present the results achieved during the first phase of the project. During this phase there has been a comprehensive study on the situation of youth centers at European level, focusing on what their potential and identifying the areas for improvement that can be addressed from the point of view of training. In this regard, the conference will be divided into 3 stages: first a general presentation of the project by members of the Romania-FITT (organization that coordinates the project), second overall presentation of the results first phase by the UAB (coordinator of this activity), and then a round table presentation of experiences on the situation of youth centers in different countries of the European Union (Germany, Slovenia, Spain, and Findlàndia Romania).
