The UrBIOFuture project at BBI JU – H2020 will start in May with the Kick-Off Meeting in the city of Barcelona. In this meeting, the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB), coordinator of this project, will explain the management of the first stage, the actions and how all partners can achieve success in the development of their tasks.
The consortium will present the description of the tasks of the Work Packages (WP) and the objectives of each of them, the planning for the coming months and the first deliverables that will be presented to the European Commission. In addition, the project partners will be able to discuss the strategy to have a good coordination in the development of each task and how this one-year project will achieve its main objectives and its positive impacts in the field of the European bioeconomy.
In addition, on the second day of this meeting, the Consortium, the working group and the group of industrial experts will be able to participate in focus group activities to define the strategies and synergies of this bioeconomy project.
The UrBIOFuture project wants to inspire bioeconomy education in Europe by being the example to follow in this area.
