RedAGE is a project that arose from funding from the Spanish Agency for International Cooperation in 2008 to develop three basic objectives:
- Create a support network for the management of educational centers between Spain and Latin America, which serves as a reference and support for Latin American university institutions.
- Coordinate actions between the Organizational Development Group (EDO) of the UAB and the Educational Management Area (AGE) of the ORT University.
- Establish working criteria that allow joint lines of activity to be initiated, to which other areas of educational management of Latin American universities can be incorporated.
The project has gradually grown to become one of the main networks of reference at the Ibero-American level in terms of Educational Management. Thus, it currently has more than 300 affiliated institutions and its website receives more than 6,000 monthly visits from countries throughout Iberoamerica.
The IV Meeting of the network is the continuation of the other meetings that have been held since 2009. Thus, the first in Uruguay (2009), the second in Chile (2010) and the third in Peru (2011). This third year the meeting will have a different format, and will be held at the headquarters of the Specialized University of the Americas (UDELAS) in Panama, on February 28.
