At CRiEDO, we are proud to present the creation of the 1st Network of Research Evidence-Informed Centers. On September 30, the members of the REDU-CAT project will meet to configure this network, in a meeting that will be held at the Faculty of Education Sciences of the Autonomous University of Barcelona. The participation of 20 educational centers from all over Catalonia is expected.

Governments around the world are committed to improving education through evidence-based strategies. Despite the proven benefits for teacher professional development and student learning, the use of evidence by schools is often inconsistent and limited to isolated initiatives.

Based on previous experiences, we propose to design and validate a model that allows research evidence to be systematically integrated into a network of educational centers in Catalonia.
