The final conference: ‘From the University to the Classroom: The professional transition to the primary teaching profession’ of the INDUCTEACHING project took place on 7th June. The AGAUR Catalan agency, through the MIF Program, financed the INDUCTEACHING Project: validation of a teacher induction proposal linked to the initial training and first year of primary school teachers (2020ARMIF-00022). The Conference aims to be a meeting space for the presentation of the products and results of the INDUCTEACHING project, but also a space for exchange and debate.
During the Conference, experts in training, teaching professional development, and teaching induction will participate, as well as management teams and teachers who accompany teaching figures in training and/or novices. The Conference will, among others, be attended by Joan Cuevas (General Director of Innovation, Curriculum, Digitization and Languages), Susana Arànega (Deputy Academic Dean of the Faculty of Education of the UB) and Zoia Bozu (Teacher of Department of Didactics and Educational Organization of the UB) and several members involved in the Project will participate and intervene.
The lecturer Patricia Olmos, from the CRIEDO and the consolidated EDO research group, coordinated the project. This has been possible through the participation and collaboration of management teams and teachers from 6 schools (Escola Jacint Verdaguer, del Prat de Llobregat; Escola Guillem Fortuny, Cambrils; Escola Mestral, Vilanova de la Barca; Escola Virolet, Sabadell; Escola Alexandre Galí, Barcelona; Escola de Pràctiques, Tarragona) and researchers and lecturers from 5 Catalan universities (Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, Universitat de Barcelona, Universitat Rovira i Virgili, Universitat Internacional de Catalunya y Universitat de Lleida).
