ACCEDES Coordination Event

The activity will be held in Lima (Perú), on october 7, 8 & 9 of 2013.

The coordination and dissemination event of ACCEDES projecte “Access and academic success for vulnerable groups in risky environments in Latin America” (DCI-ALA/2011/232) should serve to validate Organizational Development strategies that have been working for weeks on the different institutions involved in the project. The purpose of these strategies should be to respond to the needs posed by vulnerable groups in different institutional and regional contexts.

Also participating in the meeting responsible for all institutions involved in the project (partners and collaborators) to jointly define the ways to ensure economic viability and temporal proposals generated under the project. Also to generate appropriate synergies internally to promote implementation of the proposed strategies in order to validate its effectiveness in the context of reference.

Finally, the development of this event will also be conducting an international seminar that will feature political experts and regional and international whose purpose will be to discuss the preliminary results of the project and clarify proposals for action and synergies with other projects and activities that are already under development in the territory. It will also be a way to disseminate and visualize the work developed in the framework of ACCESSING over two years of intensive work.

Consistent with the proposed activities, the event will include the participation of all institutions participating in the project, besides having a space open to the university community in Latin America in order to contribute their views and reflections around the access, retention and graduation of college students provinentes of vulnerable groups.
