The project analyzes the role of school leadership in Compulsory Secondary Education schools in Catalonia during the integration process of Artificial Intelligence (AI), focusing on the strategic, pedagogical, and organizational decisions they adopt, as well as the factors that condition them. Its objectives are to identify the impact of AI in schools, describe the actions promoted by school leadership, analyze the factors influencing decision-making, and develop guidelines and best practices to facilitate a responsible and effective integration of this technology.
Its importance lies in the need to generate evidence on educational leadership in a context of accelerated digital transformation, where AI poses new educational, organizational, and ethical challenges. The results will contribute to guiding decision-making in schools, supporting the design of educational policies and leadership training programs, and fostering knowledge transfer through evidence-based recommendations.
