Biology teacher, Universidad de La Frontera (Temuco, Chile). Master’s in Educational Neuroscience, Universidad Mayor (Chile), and Master’s in Educational Research, Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (Spain). His professional career has been developed within the Chilean public education system, serving in both teaching and leadership roles.
His master’s research focused on the analysis of the intermediate level of educational governance in Chile, particularly the performances of the Municipal Education Administration Departments (DAEM). His current doctoral project examines the restructuring of Chilean public education under the New Public Education framework, with a particular focus on the transition from DAEM to the Local Public Education Services (SLEP) and its implications for territorial coordination and municipal participation in education.
