Doctor, Master’s in Quality Processes and Educational Innovation from the Autonomous University of Barcelona, Spain. He also holds a Master’s in Educational Administration, funded by the OAS, and a postgraduate degree in Educational Administration, both from the University of Concepción, Chile. He is a Professor of History and Geography at the Adventist University of Chile.
Currently, he is the Executive Director of the Montaner Foundation Chile. He has published various editorial and scientific journal articles in Scielo and Scopus. His latest publication is: International Seminar: Leadership for Innovation and Learning (January, 2025). He has organized academic activities such as meetings and seminars focused on: school management, leadership, quality and innovation, educational policies, and vulnerable contexts. He has met with the Quality Agency, the Superintendency of Education, among others. He is also an associate member of the Educational Management Support Network for Ibero-America Red Age of the UAB. He also directs the Montaner School of Hualpén (84% vulnerability) Chile.
He served as a representative of the high public administration of Chile ADP. He has taught as an assistant professor at the Faculty of Education of the San Sebastián University (Chile) in undergraduate and postgraduate courses: quality of education, school management and leadership, and educational project formulation. He has also been invited to participate in meetings with different Ministers of Education of Chile to analyze various educational policies.
Research lines: Leadership and school management, quality and innovation strategies in school organization, professional competencies of the management team, and vulnerable contexts.
