Cecilia-Inés Suárez-Rivarola is a Tenure-track Lecturer of Didactics and School Organization at the Department of Applied Pedagogy of the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. She holds a PhD in Education (2017) from Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona and a Master’s Degree in Educational Research (2012) also from UAB. She completed her Degree in Educational Sciences at the Universidad Nacional de Córdoba (2011), Argentina.
She participates in national and international research projects related to inclusive education and disadvantaged groups in higher education.
Her research interests include diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility in Higher Education, including college choice, access, persistence and retention, racially diverse individuals; research-informed educational practices, and teacher training.
