Thematic coffee on early school leaving
On Thursday, February 28, the thematic coffee will be held by CORE with the participation of the Orienta4YEL project.
Next Thursday, February 28, the thematic coffee will be held by the strategic research community (CORE) of Education and Employment of the UAB. The session will be based on a meeting space and reflection among members of the same sector, in order to facilitate possible collaborations between them.
One of the groups participating in this session is the EDO with the Orienta4YEL project, designed on the axis of actions that promote inclusive education and training of disadvantaged students and support for teachers, educators and leaders of educational institutions. The objectives of this project are:
- Develop a diagnosis of the causes and preventive factors of premature abandonment
- Developing, implementing and evaluating mechanisms of orientation and tutorial action with young people who leave prematurely or who are at risk of retiring early
- Support educational agents in dealing with young people who leave prematurely
- Establish learning networks on how to deal with early abandonment through orientation mechanisms and mentoring actions
- Identify aspects of effective leadership in educational institutions to promote the educational and social inclusion of young people who leave prematurely.
