Support OEI Princess of Asturias candidacy

EDO and RedAGE have offered their support to the candidacy of the OEI (Organization of Ibero-American States for Education, Science and Culture) to the Princess of Asturias Award for International Cooperation 2019.

Both groups support the candidature for their commitment over seven decades to the education, science and culture of Ibero-America as the backbone of the region, as well as for their contribution to the development and well-being of citizens.

The OEI is an international governmental organization for cooperation among Ibero-American countries in the field of education, science, technology and culture in the context of integral development, democracy and regional integration.

The aforementioned institution stands out for its collaboration with institutions that maintain professional and institutional ties with Ibero-American countries and their vocation for permanent integration, thus translating into the inclusion of these in their management bodies and in the actions they perform. Also, it is worth noting that the OEI is a meeting place for Ibero-American education, science and culture, being a proactive institution for the development of ties between Ibero-American countries.
