Pre-registration period opens for 2012/13 official master’s degrees
All those interested can pre-register for a 2012/13 master's degree course starting on 9 January. Information on all 2012/13 courses can be found on the UAB website.
All information on the new master's degrees being offered in the 2012/13 academic year will before the end of January.
UAB offers official courses, with fees subsidised by the government, and fully adapted to the European Higher Education Area. Official master's degrees range from 60 ECTS to 120 ECTS credits, in accordance with indications from the Spanish Ministry for Education. Depending on the student's previous studies, the coordinators of the master's degree can recommend additional training courses to be taken during the academic year (up to a maximum of 60 ECTS credits).
Students should bear in mind the need to have passed a total of 300 ECTS credits to enrol in a doctoral programme. Therefore, those who with qualifications including less than 240 ECTS credits (three-year or architectural/engineering diplomas) interested in enrolling in a doctoral programme must:
a) Enrolling in additional training courses recommended by the course coordinator.
b) Enrolling in a master's degree consisting of 120 ECTS credit or two master's degree worth 60 ECTS credits each.
