On October 1st, 2025, a special session was held to present ongoing research to students of the Master’s in Educational Research, within Specialization 2: Organization, Management, and Transformation of Educational Institutions.
During the event, the Centre for Research and Studies for Organizational Development (CRiEDO) was introduced, and current research projects coordinated by the centre were shared, all of which contribute to the improvement of educational institutions.
The session began with an institutional presentation of CRiEDO by Joaquín Gairín, who highlighted the centre’s main lines of work and its commitment to knowledge transfer. Several ongoing research projects were then presented:
- Cristina Mercader spoke about Digital Environments in Educational Organizations.
- Georgeta Ion introduced the Network of Research-Informed Schools and the validation of the model in Catalonia, as part of the REDU-CAT project.
- Maria del Mar Duran participated twice: first, presenting the COIIN project, focused on intergenerational organizational culture in Spanish university research centres and teams; and later, discussing individual thematic interests and group experience exchange, linked to the Master’s Final Project (TFM) of Specialization 2.
The event provided a space for reflection and exchange between researchers and students, strengthening the connection between research and educational practice. This initiative aligns with CRiEDO’s commitment to promoting applied research and collaboration with future education professionals.
