On Tuesday, October 15, the Hotel Exe Campus of the UAB hosted the Innovation Fair, one of the highlights of Innovation Week, held from October 14 to 18.
This fair, organized by the UAB Research Park, brought together 80 research groups, including CRiEDO, and 20 companies born from the University, with the aim of connecting the ecosystem and promoting the transfer of knowledge and technologies to society.
The Innovation Fair served as a meeting point between the world of research and the business environment, recognizing the knowledge transfer of research groups and showcasing the wide range of technologies, services, innovative ideas, and entrepreneurial projects generated on the UAB campus.
The objectives of the Fair include:
- Making visible the commitment of the UAB and its ecosystem to innovation from the perspective of different agents, sectors, and groups.
- Connecting the entrepreneurial ecosystem and the knowledge of the UAB campus with the business fabric, the network of public and private investors, and knowledge centers.
- Linking UAB research with the challenges of the B30 territory.
- Connecting researchers and entrepreneurs from diverse areas of knowledge to increase the competitiveness of business initiatives.
- Fostering an innovative and entrepreneurial spirit, especially promoting female entrepreneurship.
CRiEDO’s participation in this fair has been key to making its work in knowledge transfer visible and its contribution to innovation and technological development. With its presence, CRiEDO has demonstrated its commitment to the objectives of the Fair, reinforcing the connection between academic research and the needs of the business and social fabric.
