Consultancy
The project “A common framework of professional teacher competencies” gets European funds for its development.
During 2014 and 2015 EDO-SERVEIS has developed some consultancy and training actions with the professionals of the Autonomic Centre of Training and Innovation (CAFI), in Galicia, where Joaquín Gairín has participated actively. Such consultancies include actions related to the design of the project “A common framework of professional teacher competencies”, presented by CAFI to ERASMUS+ call in the form of Strategic Associations for School Education.
The Autonomic Centre of Training and Innovation in Galicia coordinates the Network of Teacher Training, which is responsible of the continuous training of 33,000 teachers from all non-university levels in Galicia. This network is composed by seven CTRs (Centres of Training and Resources) and the CAFI.
The main objective pursued with the development of this project is to improve students education through enhancing teacher’s competencies. For that, it is important to improve the quality of teaching for an excellent education, strengthening teachers’ profiles and encouraging the development of their capacities.
