Consolidation as a tenured professor of Anna Díaz

Anna Díaz Vicario consolidates her teaching and research career at the UAB.

On October 24, Dr. Anna Díaz obtained the status of permanent tenured professor in the Department of Applied Pedagogy at the Autonomous University of Barcelona. Anna Díaz received a positive evaluation from the panel made up of the president Dr. Ana García-Varcárcel (Universidad de Salamanca), the member Dr. Marta Sabariego (Universitat de Barcelona), and the secretary Dr. José Tejada (Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona).

Anna Díaz holds a PhD in Education (2015), a Master’s Degree in Educational Research (2010), and a Bachelor’s Degree in Pedagogy (2008) from the Autonomous University of Barcelona. Before obtaining her tenured position, she was a Lecturer in the Serra Hunter Program in the Department of Applied Pedagogy, having also been a postdoctoral researcher and a research professor in training at the FPU in the same department. Her entire teaching and research career has always been linked to the EDO Group and the Department of Applied Pedagogy at the UAB.

Throughout her career, Dr. Díaz has participated in 25 research projects and agreements and 10 teaching innovation projects in the area of didactics and school organization. As a result, she has published more than 20 articles in journals indexed in JCR and SJR, as well as various chapters, books and teaching materials. She has been a visiting professor at the Curry School of Education (United States) and at the research group Teacher Training and Pedagogical Innovation (FODIP) at the University of Barcelona (Spain). Her research lines focus mainly on healthy educational organizations and evidence-informed practices.
