On 10 November 2026, the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona will host the 5th CRiEDO Conference in the Assembly Hall of the Faculty of Education Sciences (Building G6).
This event, focused on “Educational Absenteeism in the Classroom: A Responsibility Shared by the Entire Educational Community”, includes the following highlights:
- 5:30 PM: Welcome and opening remarks by Maria del Mar Duran and Cecilia Inés Suárez, members of CRiEDO.
- 5:40 PM: Keynote lecture, “Educational Absenteeism in the Classroom: A Responsibility Shared by the Entire Educational Community”, delivered by Xavier M. Triadó Ivern, Vice-Rector for Digitalization Policy at the University of Barcelona.
- 6:30 PM: Roundtable discussion and debate with Àngels Cadena (Principal of Mercè Rodoreda School, Barcelona), Manel Apio (Principal of La Serra Secondary School, Sabadell), Dolors Márquez (Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona), moderated by Patricia Olmos Rueda, member of CRiEDO.
- 7:20 PM: Interaction and discussion with attendees.
- 7:30 PM: Presentation of the 5th CRiEDO Award and the 3rd CRiEDO Award for the Best Final Degree or Master’s Thesis (Bachelor’s or Master’s Final Project), presented by the CRiEDO management team.
- 8:00 PM: Closing of the conference.
