Reptes organitzatius de la formació professional per a l’atenció als nous perfils d’alumnat

Vocational education and training (VET) has become an effective pathway for continued education and training, successful integration into the labor market, and social inclusion. However, it remains a non-priority option in post-compulsory secondary education, a situation linked to what can be considered key challenges for vocational education. Among these challenges are, on the one hand, the profile of the students who access it—young people who often identify with high-risk factors associated with early school leaving—and, on the other hand, the lack of appropriate and contextualized guidance mechanisms and tutorial strategies.
Addressing these challenges must be approached from the perspective of people, organization, interaction, resources, and the specific gaps of vocational education—five key aspects that are closely interrelated and interdependent, and which must be addressed through the organization of educational institutions.
