Today, competencies and learning outcomes are part of everyday university vocabulary. However, this presence in the discourse does not guarantee their effective integration into the training offer. The issue is that beyond the conceptual complexity of the construct, the pedagogical debates that are maintained or the difficulties in putting competencies into practice, the quality of a training program is measured by its ability to show that what it claims to promote, it effectively promotes and evaluates. The work we present is a roadmap to evaluate the effective integration of competencies in a training program. It is organized in two parts: 1. Strategic vision of a training program: presents the foundations of the conceptual change necessary to integrate the new model in a training context. 2. Roadmap towards the effective integration of competencies: presents the Model to Evaluate the Integration of Competencies in a Program (MEIC-P) as an instrument to evaluate the integration of training and evaluation by competencies. This work, conceived from research, reflection and experience, aims to be a tool for scholars of the subject, management, coordination and teaching teams.
