On 28th, 29th and 30th of june will take place in Madrid the 16th National Conference & 7th Iberoamerican Conference of Pedagogy, “Democracy and Education in the 21st century”, which counts with the collaboration of EDO in coordinating one of the 13 strategic lines: Change and improvement in educational systems and organizations, Management, organization, administration and evaluation of training institutions.
Coinciding with the 100th anniversary of John Dewey’s publication “Democracy and Education,” the Spanish Pedagogical Society (SEP), in collaboration with other networks in the world of Education, is celebrating the SEP 2016, which will be a place to exchange knowledge, experiences, and research that will build new knowledge to promote the further development of pedagogical thinking.
The Organizational Committee has chosen the following strategic working lines, which will be coordinated by different organizations and research teams:
- Educational Reflection and Action and Pedagogical Thought.
- International and comparative education.
- History of education. Historical-educational heritage.
- Community, citizenship, and society.
- Research, evaluation and orientation.
- Faculty profiles and promotion among universities.
- Inclusive spaces and attention to diversity.
- Change and improvement in educational systems and organizations.
- University faculty training.
- Design, development, and evaluation of training institutions.
- Education theory.
- Leadership at all levels of education.
- Environment, cultures and identities in digital education.
- Pedagogical challenges in the digital age.
The scientific program is made up of plenary conferences, individual workshops directed by experts, oral presentations, posters, and educational experiences and best practices that teachers carry out in their classrooms. This conference is directed towards researchers and educational professionals interested in sharing and debating educational research, innovations, and experiences.
