Webinar 1.4 of the EdU-InA Project: “Knowledge, Use and Positioning of University Students Regarding GenAI”

Date of the scientific meeting: 22/04/2026

On Wednesday, 22 April 2026, the EdU-InA project will hold a dissemination seminar entitled “Knowledge, Use and Positioning of University Students in GenAI”. The event will take place from 12:30 to 14:00 (CET) online, via Microsoft Teams, and registration is open and free.

The third dissemination webinar of the EdU-InA project will present preliminary results on the knowledge, use and positioning of university students regarding generative artificial intelligence.

This will be the third webinar in the dissemination series “Educational Policies and Practices on GenAI”, which accompanies the development of the project with the aim of sharing progress related to each of the Specific Objectives. In this case, the seminar is linked to Specific Objective 1.4, focused on analysing the knowledge, use and positioning of Spanish university students regarding generative artificial intelligence.

The EdU-InA project (Policies and Practices on Generative Artificial Intelligence in Higher Education), funded by the Spanish Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities under the Knowledge Generation call (PID2023-149069OA-I00), aims to promote the integration of generative AI in universities from a rigorous, ethical and equitable perspective. The project seeks to help teaching staff make the most of generative AI in their courses, promote the alignment of curricula and assessment activities with students’ real needs, and provide university leaders with evidence and tools to adapt their institutions and prepare future professionals. All of this is grounded in research-based results.

Webinar 1.4 will also feature the lecture “University Students and Generative AI: Between Use and Critical Positioning”, delivered by Linda Castañeda, Professor of Educational Technology at the University of Murcia.

We invite you to attend this seminar and follow the full webinar series to learn first-hand about the progress of the EdU-InA project.
