In the V International Congress on Psychological Educational and Health Contexts to be held in Madrid, the symposium on the promotion and development of safe and healthy educational institutions will take place. In this, five members of the EDO Group will participate: Isabel del Arco, Anna Díaz Vicario, Joaquín Gairín (as Coordinator of the Symposium), Cristina Mercader Juan and Patricia Silva.
The objective of the symposium will be to analyze the latest contributions in relation to the proposal to promote safer and healthier educational institutions. In relation to this, the school aspects are linked to the extracurricular formats and realities – this perspective requires from the territorial context to enter the school context linking health and safety.
The symposium is organized based on four contributions by Isabel del Arco and Patricia Silva, Antonio Burgos, Anna Díaz and Cristina Mercader. It will consider the macro perspective (territory) and the micro perspective (school). All the contributions involved collect studies and experiences, emphasizing the elements that make up a proposal linked to the international trend of promoting safe and healthy schools.
