On December 13, members of the research team of the European project InventCultura convene a working meeting with representatives of various Catalan cultural institutions. This project analyzes for two years what are the social values of culture and how certain factors such as globalization, European integration, migratory waves, the digital revolution and the increase in social inequalities are influencing the culture of European citizens.
The meeting will be chaired by Jordi López, Professor of Business and principal researcher of the InventCultura team. Other researchers from the project will attend, such as Joan Llonch who will present the advances in cultural, interpersonal and political cosmopolitanism and Pilar López who will present work on cultural identity and its integrating role. The event will be attended by Jordina Puntí – Sabadell City Council, Miquel Molins – Fundació Banc Sabadell, Lluïsa Julià – Ateneu Barcelonès, Frederic Santa-Olalla Rovira – Teatre La Cubana, Itziar Sen – Cercle Artístic Sant Lluc, Núria Cugat – La Vanguardia, Joan Marcet – Academy of Fine Arts of Sabadell (on-line) and Maite Esteve – Fundació Catalunya Cultura (on-line).
