REDU-CAT: Network of Centers Informed by Research Evidence: Design and validation of a model in Catalonia

The “Network of Centers Informed in Research Evidence: Design and validation of a model in Catalonia (in catalan, Xarxa de Centres Informats en Evidències de Recerca: Disseny i validació d’un model a Catalunya, REDU-CAT)” project led by Professor Georgeta Ion of the CRiEDO has been approved in the call for Grants for educational research projects 2023 of the Department of Education of the Generalitat of Catalonia.

It is the only project framed within Line C (Line C: Application of research evidence in educational centers) and aims to create and validate a model for the use of educational evidence in a network of educational centers in Catalonia.

The project, through the collaboration of teachers, management teams, researchers and key agents, aims to develop the research capacity of the agents involved, accompany the centers in the use of the model and take advantage of the potential of professional networks to support the improvement processes informed by evidence.

The project team is confirmed by researchers from the UAB, UB, Blanquerna UOC and teachers and directors of educational centers in Catalonia, with experience in the subject.
