According to recent studies (the digital education plan 2021 to 2027 in the EU), the assessment system is the most difficult aspect in a distance teaching and learning situation in the current pandemic crisis. In this context, the project aims to develop innovative assessment practices in the field of university teacher training to improve their teaching and learning skills, as well as their digital skills, as well as those of the students themselves.
The objectives of the project are the following:
- Develop digital assessment resources that ensure a valid, sustainable and effective assessment of your skills.
- Train university faculty to use electronic assessment in an effective and consistent way, along with improving their digital skills.
- Provide universities with mechanisms to definitively change the culture of assessment, organically incorporating a digital solution to facilitate student learning.
The project is based on five pillars of intervention, creating an organic and holistic process around the following university dimensions:
- People: students are the central agents of higher education, so the development of their professional skills represents the main result and priority;
- Organization: the project will consider the intervention context as critical as in any other process of change and innovation;
- Interaction: aspects such as ethics and integrity will be at the center of the designed interaction;
- Resources: the project will contribute to creating valid and adapted resources for university professors;
- Digital divide: the assessment must be inclusive for all students and this project will design resources and interventions that contribute to reducing the digital deficiencies of teachers and students.
