Aproximación al estado de la acción tutorial en universidades chilenas
This study reviews the situation of the tutorial action developed in Chilean universities, between 2015 and 2016, from a quantitative approach, with an exploratory design, which allowed obtaining results at two levels: first, a general panorama of the object of study, after reviewing the web pages of the 60 Chilean universities about their tutoring programs; and secondly, the way in which 24 public and private universities of the national territory operate with respect to the tutorial action is exposed in detail, based on a detailed survey applied to their managers and professionals involved. Based on the results, it can be seen that in Chile the tutorial action is developed more frequently in the first years of university through the peer tutoring model, with a focus on skills for university adaptation, study strategies and academic leveling.
